Do you counsel children?

I do not counsel children under the age of 14, but I will be happy to give you a referral to a therapist who does.

Do you prescribe medication?

I do not prescribe medication. Medication can be prescribed by a psychiatrist or your family doctor.

How do I make an appointment?

You simply call to set an appointment date and time. Forms are provided on the website that will need to be completed by the time of the first session. These forms can be emailed to me or brought in at the first session.

What is the length of the session?

The counseling sessions are typically 50 minutes. However, depending on the type of therapy, sessions could run up to 2 hours.

What is your cancellation policy?

You will not be charged if you cancel up to 24 hours before the appointment time.

Do you accept insurance?

I accept Humana and Tricare Standard insurance plans.

What types of payment do you accept?

I accept cash, check, American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa.

Do you have a sliding scale for those who cannot pay the full rate?

Yes, I have a sliding scale that will be established on a case by case basis.

Do you accept scholarships from churches?

Yes, I accept scholarships from churches to pay for the session. It is the individual’s responsibility to obtain the scholarship.

When is the payment due?

Payment is due at the time of the appointment.
